Dear Friends,

Life is like an ever-shifting kaleidoscope – a slight change and many patterns alter. A generation has passed since we started our endeavor. Thirty years is a long time for a small scientific foundation. This one is still going strong.

From arranging interdisciplinary scientific meeting and courses, the Foundation has developed into a small multifaceted organization, providing public and in camera educational services, aid, and consultation.

How do you measure the success of a foundation? In its life and liveliness? In its activities? In the money spent? In the number of people supporting it? A non-profit foundation is not judged on bottom line accounting. Money is not the sole focus, effectiveness is. A foundation advances its credibility by the evidence of its success.

Foundations have their own way of life; sooner or later somebody comes and asks:

"Can't we do this or that in addition to …"
"No," you say. "It's not covered by our umbrella."
"Can't we have a bigger um
brella?"

The umbrella has grown and we have widened our horizon, but we still believe that small is beautiful. We have picked some additional goals, expanded our mission and incorporated new chapters drawing in more advisers for the ideas that we want to pursue.

If you want to contribute, let us know. We look for independent-minded "comrades-in-arms" who share the ideals and aims of the Foundation.
